Our Story
Southwest Sewing Machines began with Gerald Valentine, who started repairing sewing machines in Houston back in 1977. Gerald first learned the trade from his brother Bill Valentine on the East Coast, where he honed his skills working with a wide range of industrial machines. After four years, Gerald returned to Houston to launch what would become a legacy of excellence in sewing machine sales, service, and support.

- 100% Polyester Threads: Sizes #100 (T-24), #50 (T-40), and #30 (T-60)
- Gütermann Hemming and Jean Threads
- Bonded Nylon: Sizes B-33 to B-415
- UV-Resistant Polyester Threads: Tex-70 to Tex-270 (Black & White)
- Monofilament Threads: Clear & Smoke (.005 to .012)

Our team provides in-house repairs for domestic machines and both in-house and on-site service for commercial and industrial models. All work is performed by experienced, knowledgeable technicians.
Every used or rebuilt commercial sewing machine includes:
- 90-day service warranty
- 1-year warranty on major parts and motors
- Fully assembled machines, sewn-off with your threads and fabrics before shipping or pickup
- Free training at our facility with machine purchase
